Adam Thomas addresses social media silence after Strictly exit
Adam Thomas’ professional dance partner Luba Mushtuk and his wife Caroline Daly, have subtly responded to the star’s recent Strictly Come Dancing exit.
Last Saturday, the 35-year-old became the latest celebrity to hang up their dancing shoes and exit the long-running BBC competition.
Unfortunately, he and Luba, 32, failed to impress the judges with their Rumba to ‘Dancing On My Own’ by Calum Scott and saw their Glitterball Trophy campaign abruptly ending.
Following the elimination, the Strictly professional has reportedly ‘liked’ a social media comment claiming that the Waterloo Road star was “robbed” of his place.
As per The Sun, one Strictly fan took to X (formerly Twitter) and said: “You were ROBBED! Never been so annoyed about the decision there.”

The social media user then reportedly followed their comment up by writing: “Luba liking this comment, she KNOWS they should’ve stayed 🙁 #strictly.”
Former Strictly pro James Jordan has also shared his dismay after the judges opted to save Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington over Adam and Luba.
Posting a clip from his Strictly The Truth YouTube show with Hello! to Instagram, the 45-year-old stated: “I feel Adam was stitched up. That’s my personal feeling.”
James continued to say that Craig Revel Horwood’s comments following the Rumba were “rubbish” and claimed that the judge “can’t get his ten out before Blackpool”.
After posting the clip to his 261,000 followers, Adam’s wife, Caroline, subtly shared her thoughts.

The mum-of-two commented with a string of crying faces, which seem to allude to the idea that she also believes the ex-Emmerdale actor was indeed “stitched up”.
Following Caroline’s cryptic comment, fans have come out to express their takes on the situation.
“(Sic) He’s done really well,” posted one Instagram user.
Another said: “Adam shouldn’t of gone him and Luba smashed the dance off. (Sic) Angela was wobbling all over the place Adam didn’t put a foot wrong.
“So gutted they went! He should be so proud of himself though I was enjoying seeing him get better and better week after week he delivered.”
Following Adam’s elimination from the show, he took to social to thank fans for their unwavering support.
“We just wanted to jump on here and just say to everyone – thank you,” he said alongside Luba in a quick clip. “Thank you so much for all your support.
“To everyone who picked up the phone and voted for us week on week. We would never have gotten to Week Seven if it wasn’t for you guys.”
Adam also said in the video – which was shared with his one million followers – that he couldn’t have gotten as far in the competition without the help of Luba, before stating that he had the “best” time competing.
You can tune into Strictly Come Dancing this Saturday on BBC One at 6.05pm.
