Strictly star Helen Skelton is in talks with the BBC to fill a presenting role on It Takes Two.
TV personality Rylan Clark stood down as host of the spin-off show this week after hosting the BBC2 show for four years.
The former X Factor star fronted the series with DJ Zoe Ball, 52, before former pro dancer Janette, 39, took over from her.
With Rylan hanging up his sparkly shoes there’s a permanent role up for grabs – and sources say bosses reckon bubbly Helen can fill those shoes, reports The Mirror.
There is no denying that the 39-year-old, who made it to the final with Gorka Marquez last year, would be a great fit for the presenting role.

Rylan announced the news in a statement shared to social media on Wednesday morning (April 12).
“After four fantastic years it’s time for me to hang up my glittery jacket and say goodbye to It Takes Two,” he wrote, alongside a “heart” emoji.
“I’ve had the best time hosting the show alongside Janette and Zoe and I can’t thank the amazing team enough for always putting on a great show. I’ve been welcomed into the Strictly family and will hold that title dear to me.
He continued: “The time has come to pass on the baton to someone else and explore what else life has for me.”

One source said: “Not only is Helen a very experienced and popular presenter, she captured Strictly fans last year with her warmth and charisma. She was also a hit with the team, from the top bosses to the make-up teams, production and the crew. The pro dancers all know her and as a former contestant, she knows what the celebrities are going through. It seems like she could be a perfect fit for us.”
Helen is no stranger to being in front of the camera, she found fame on Blue Peter in 2008 and has hosted Countryfile since 2014 and is currently in Channel 5’s On the Farm.
The mum of three was rocked last year when her marriage to Richie Myler ended. The rugby star, 32, has since begun a relationship with Stephanie Thirkill, who had their first child earlier this year.
The BBC declined to comment. Helen was contacted for comment.
