Graziano Di Prima ‘angry’ with Zara McDermott over carbonara debate
After a tense dance-off on Sunday night’s episode of Strictly Come Dancing, Zara McDermott has admitted feeling like she’s “let herself down” following Eddie Kadi’s departure.
The 26-year-old and her dance partner Graziano, 29, were chosen to stay by the judges over comedian Eddie and Karen Hauer, who were sent packing, despite fans’ complaints that he performed better in the dance-off.
Taking to her Instagram, Zara told her two million followers: “Being in the dance off for the second time was definitely not the easiest moment of our Strictly journey so far.
“I think I let those nerves get the better of me during our performance, and I knew I could have done better.
“I definitely felt like I let myself down when I walked off the dance floor, as I knew I could have pushed through those jelly legs a bit more, both physically & mentally!” the former Love Island star expressed.

Zara went on to express her gratitude for being saved and vowed to control her nerves for next week so that she can go further in the competition.
She also took the opportunity to thank Graziano for believing in her, even when she doesn’t believe in herself.
Meanwhile, fans were left fuming that Eddie, 40, and Karen, 41, were the ones to be sent home by the judges.
Viewers took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts on Sunday’s nail-biting dance-off.

One user expressed: “Unbelievable! Zara spent more time in the air being carried than actually dancing. Eddie was robbed. #StrictlyComeDancing.”
Another X user said: “Gutted for Karen…Eddie was robbed. At least he actually danced…Zara was in the air for most of her routine. Defo wrong result. #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing.”
A third wrote: “Just caught up on #StrictlyComeDancing results…totally the wrong couple eliminated. Zara barely danced, Eddie was far better. What a shame.”
While a fourth added: “Really disappointed to see Eddie leave this evening. The samba isn’t as easy dance, but he did well. And what a great personality he is.
“Very surprised at the judges decisions. We would have loved to see him continue his journey.. #StrictlyComeDancing #strictly.”
It comes after Anton Du Beke, Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood all opted to keep Zara in the competition over Eddie.
