Since leaving Made in Chelsea, Zara has focused on making documentaries for BBC Three.
Her current boyfriend, Sam Thompson, is also a former Made in Chelsea star.
Speaking to The Express, he shared the moment he first fell in love with her and revealed he is looking forward to supporting her in the upcoming competition.
He sweetly recalled: “It was the time when Zara met my mum and she was just so loving to my mum and got along with her so well.
“She’s such a wholesome, warm-hearted person. I was like, ‘Wow. This person gets along with my family so incredibly well and they’re so polite and so sweet.’ That means so much to me, so if anything, it was then, at that restaurant [that I realised she was the one for me].”
The pair met online via Instagram four years ago and have been together since June 2019.
During her time on the celebrity version of The X Factor, Zara admitted to cheating on Sam and the pair briefly split up in September 2020.
However, the couple rekindled their romance a few months later.
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One on Saturday, September 16 at 6.35pm.
