Summer Walker Quietly Changes Pronouns on Instagram

Fans have since weighed in on the matter, with some of them assuming the musician changed the pronouns because they’re currently pregnant with their second child.

AceShowbizSummer Walker had a little change on their Instagram profile. The “Still Over It” artist was caught quietly updating their pronouns to “they/them” on the social media platform.

Fans have since weighed in on the matter, with some of them assuming Summer changed the pronouns because they’re pregnant with their second child. “She’s pregnant that’s why it’s technically they,” one person in particular opined.

Another echoed the sentiment, “U know this is the best perspective I’ve seen on this. When a woman is pregnant she’s definitely a ‘They’ speaking and doing for the unborn child. A third commented, “She got a baby inside her duh they/them lol.”

Summer announced their pregnancy when hopping on Instagram Live in late June. “People asking me if I’m pregnant,” they said. After taking a few moments, the “4th Baby Mama” singer confirmed, “I am! And, you know, I’m very very very happy about it, very excited about it.”

Summer, who is currently dating Larry a.k.a. LVRD Pharoh, went on to tell their online devotees that they are most excited to see how “different” things will be this time around. The musician seemingly dissed their first baby daddy, London On Da Track, for “making [them] spend [their] whole f**king pregnancy alone.”

“It’s just, you know, really peaceful, really happy,” the expectant mother said of their second pregnancy. “Lots of help, lots of love, and the only reason I’m even saying anything is because, you know, last time… I felt very disrespected that people didn’t let me tell that myself.”

Summer previously threw shades at London in a recent interview with Essence. “I wish that I paid more attention to the person I procreated with,” they told the outlet. “It’s still like you never really know anybody. Even how long you can be with people, you just never really know… People be in long-a** marriages, and they just switch up and you’ll be like, ‘Yo, what the f**k?’ So, I guess you can just never really know.”
