Taylor Swift’s voice breaks during emotional Chicago performance
Taylor Swift has reportedly thanked her Eras tour roadies by gifting them $100,000 each in a surprise bonus.
According to TMZ, the Blank Space singer has paid a massive £4million in bonuses to the 50+ production team members who have been helping cart her massive stadium tour across the US.
Ahead of her show in Santa Clara, California, on Saturday May 30, Taylor allegedly gave them the life-changing thank you for all their hard work.
This was in part to mark the end of their time on the tour, with the All Too Well singer finishing up her Northern American dates with a six-date stay at Los Angeles’s Sofi Stadium.
After finishing up in LA on August 8, Taylor will take a two-week break before starting up again in Mexico City, Mexico on August 24.
Making sure everyone involved in the tour gets their due, the site reports band members, dancers and well as the rest of roadie crew also get a bonus.
Daily Express US has contacted Taylor’s reps for comment and clarification on the claims.
The generous handout comes during Taylor’s most successful tour to date, with Eras earning a reported $1billion gross since it first launched in Glendale, Arizona at the end of March.
Since that point, the 22 singer has performed across the entire United States, with dozens of celebrities among those enjoying the concert celebrating her impressive album releases to date.
The South American leg of the tour kicks off with Mexico, and will cover Brazil and Argentina before she winds down for the year in November.
She will then restart the show with the international dates in February, with dates in Australia, Tokyo, and Singapore before the European leg starts.
Taylor currently has tour dates running through to the end of August, with Paramore joining her for the European shows starting in May.
Demand is so high that Ticketmaster has repeatedly crashed around the world as fans flocked to try and get access to the shows.
