Tess and Claudia present the opening of Strictly
The second episode of Strictly Come Dancing kicked of tonight in style, but some fans were left distracted by presenter Tess Daly’s appearance.
The star donned a bright blue velvet suit for the occasion, which featured pieces of loose material hanging around her shoulders and a shiny blue shirt.
Meanwhile, her co-host Claudia Winkleman dazzled in a baby pink sequined blazer and matching trousers.
Taking to Twitter, fans revealed a mixed reaction to Tess’ bold outfit.
“Tess’ outfits the last 2 weeks have been awful!” wrote Kirsty.

Strictly Come Dancing 2023 kicked off last Saturday, as celebrities took to the dance floor for the first time to show off their challenging routines.
This week, stars will be looking to lock in high scores from the judges as they prepare to face their first elimination tomorrow night.
EastEnders star Bobby Brazier, who is paired up with professional dancer Dianne Buswell, currently looks like the show’s frontrunner according to bookies.
Sam Boswell, spokesperson of BetVictor, said about the latest odds: “Eastenders star Bobby Brazier has been backed to land the Glitterball trophy at 11/5.
“He’s been the favourite since the market went live! Bobby and Dianne are set to dance to the Charleston, to Do Your Thing by Basement Jaxx.”
Meanwhile, it seems fellow EastEnders star Nigel Harman is hot on his heels with odds of 7/2.
“His price has been cut as he was originally coming in at 8/1,” Sam revealed.
Other contestants on this year’s show include Channel 4 News anchor Krishnan Guru-Murthy, comedian Les Dennis and actress Amanda Abbington.
Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, while Strictly Come Dancing: The Results airs tomorrow night at 7.15pm.
