Friends star Matthew Perry tragically died aged 54 after accidentally drowning in his jacuzzi at home on Saturday 28 October.
The actor, who shot to fame as the sarcastic Chandler Bing in the seminal 90s sitcom, was found dead at his house in Los Angeles.
Friends, which followed the lives of six friends in their 20s living in New York, was a smash hit across the globe when it aired between 1994 and 2004 – along with an emotional re-union special in 2021 – and re-runs still remain hugely popular years on.
For season one, everyone in the show’s cast made $22,500 per episode but the show’s success meant that the cast of Friends soon became some of the highest-paid television actors of the early Noughties, earning $1 million for each episode by the show’s end in 2004.

Jennifer Aniston as Rachel Green
Jennifer Aniston, 54, played the adored Rachel Green, who first appeared as the shopping-obsessed runaway bride in Season one.
Not only did her character secure a coveted job at Ralph Lauren, but she also – much to fans’ delight – ended up with on and off beau Ross, who was the eventual father of her daughter, Emma, in the show’s series finale.
Aniston’s career continued to skyrocket once the final episode of Friends was wrapped up in May 2004.

David Schwimmer as Ross Geller
David Schwimmer, 56, played Rachel’s love interest Ross Geller in Friends. The goofy paleontologist was the elder brother of Monica Geller (Courtney Cox) and was renowned for his on-off romantic relationship with Rachel throughout the series.
Since the final episode of Friends in 2004, Schwimmer has also had a fruitful career in TV and film over the years.
In 2005, Schwimmer went on to entertain a generally younger audience as Melman, the giraffe in the animated comedy Madagascar, before making his his feature directorial debut with 2007’s Run Fatboy Run, starring Simon Pegg.

Courteney Cox as Monica Geller
Courteney Cox, 59, starred as the neurotic cleaning-obsessed Monica Geller, who was best friend to Rachel and younger sister to Ross.
In the beginning of the show, Monica was in a relationship with Dr. Richard Burke (Tom Selleck), a friend of her parents, but she eventually ended up with Chandler Bing, who she sweetly proposed to in Season 6.
The pair welcomed twins towards the end of the series and decided to move from New York City to the suburbs.
Since the show, Cox has gone on to appear in the sitcom Cougar Town from 2009 to 2015, directing a handful of the series’ episodes.
She’s also played Gale Weathers in all installments of the Scream franchise since 1996 – recently reviving her role as the weather reporter in Scream VI earlier this year, which featured Wednesday star Jenna Ortega.

Matt LeBlanc, 56, played ladies’ man Joey Tribbiani in Friends, and quickly became adored by fans for his charm and timeless opening line of ‘How you doin’?’ throughout the show.
After Friends ended, he bought a $7.4 million Pacific Palisades Spanish Villa.
He later rented the property out for $12,995 per month and then put it up for sale in 2016 for $8.75 million.
LeBlanc went on to star in the spinoff Joey from 2004 to 2006, which followed his character’s acting career to Los Angeles, but it was canceled after two seasons.

Lisa Kudrow, 60, starred as the quirky Phoebe Buffay on the show, who provided comic relief during theatrical moments and become iconic for one of her many nonsensical songs, Smelly Cat.
After going through a number of doomed relationships throughout the series, Phoebe ended the show married to Mike Hannigan, played by Paul Rudd.
Since the show, Kudrow has appeared in a number of TV series, such as Web Therapy and Space Force, and films, including P.S. I Love You (2007), The Girl on the Train (2016) and Better Nate Than Ever (2022).

Matthew Perry as Chandler Bing
Matthew Perry played the sweet yet sarcastic Chandler Bing, who sent fans into fits of laughter with his punchlines and wit.
Equally, Chandler frequently brought the Friends audience to tears, as the character, who was famously afraid of commitment, navigated his relationship and consequent marriage to love interest Monica.
Perry made earned a new generation of fans when he played the adult version of Zac Efron’s character in the 2009 comedy 17 Again.
The actor also appeared in numerous TV series including The Good Wife (2009), Mr. Sunshine (2011) and The Odd Couple (2015).
In November 2020, Perry married to talent manager Molly Hurwitz, but the pair called it quits and separated six months later.

There was no indication of foul play and no drugs were found at the scene of his death, sources said this morning.
In his haunting last post to his Instagram, shared earlier this week, the star shared images of him in his pool, saying: ‘Oh, so warm water swirling around makes you feel good? I’m Mattman.’
