The Only Way Is Essex star Courtney Green has shared a sweet update with fans after she received some exciting news from one the people nearest and dearest to her heart. The 27 year old reality star took to social media on Thursday evening to reveal that her best friend was engaged – something which clearly overwhelmed her with emotion.
Sharing a sweet post on her Instagram stories, Courtney wrote: “I have no words. My best friend, my sister, my world. The person I don’t know what I’d do without. The one that keeps me alive – is engaged to her childhood sweetheart.”
The delighted star then continued: “Thank you @Drubino01 for making her dreams come true!”
Alongside the message, Courtney shared a photo of her pal Lauren Devan showing off her stunning engagement ring as the bride-to-be covered her mouth with her hand in a moment of awe. Later on in Courtney’s stories, she also shared a snap of the couple’s intimate proposal, which took place against a dreamy tropical backdrop.
The delightful news made a welcome change from the drama Courtney has been caught up in, in recent weeks, following a major fallout between former pals Amber Turner, Chloe Meadows and Chloe Brockett.
The former pals were previously as thick as thieves, but sadly fell out earlier this year following an ongoing feud over their behaviour. Things escalated earlier this month, when Chloe B unfollowed both Amber and Chloe M on social media – a favour which they promptly returned.
The trio were previously best friends on the ITV2 reality show, but things took a sour turn during the latest series when a feud broke out among the girls.
TOWIE viewers at home have seen Chloe B break down in tears in recent weeks, as she bravely opened up to Courtney Green about how she was feeling, before admitting she was fed up that Amber was "constantly digging her out”.
The pair later confronted each other in tense scenes, prompting Chloe M to clap back at her name twin and accuse her of "the pot calling the kettle black”.
As a result of the fallout, the girls all agreed to take a step back from their friendship in the hopes that distance would cool off the heated mood – but sadly this didn’t happen and the trio parted ways. This left Courtney caught in the crossfire between her warring pals.
