Jordan Brook and Chloe Brockett locked horns when she was seen having a pop at Jordan and Sophie Kasaei's new relationship in the first episode of the new series of The Only Way is Essex.
And after Chloe, 22, reflected on her actions in the fiery episode – as well as telling OK! that viewers will soon find out why "she doesn't like him" – Jordan, 25, has now broken his silence on the drama in a new interview.
He shared with us: "It’s safe to say we’re not on speaking terms. There’s only so much you can put up with and I put my olive branch out enough times trying to be the better person, which my mum has always taught me to be – and I always have been.
"Sometimes there’s just no pleasing certain people. I’m extremely happy and the only people I want around me are people who are happy for me and want the best for me."
Chloe and Jordan dated on the show last summer, but things fizzled out between them after finishing filming the last series.
Sophie, 33, is a newbie on the show after finding love with Jordan back in October, with her recently moving from Newcastle to Essex to live with her boyfriend.
TOWIE fans saw Chloe say of Jordan and Sophie's new romance: "I have seen small snippets – it's a quick transition, that's all I'm saying."
She then mentioned that the star "falls in love quickly", as she referred to his history of also dating TOWIE cast member Ella Wise, 22.
"He loved Ella, he loved me, he loved Ella again and now he loves Sophie. I wish I had his capability to love people as quickly as he does," Chloe said.
As Chloe looked back on her comments over the couple, she revealed: "In the first episode, there was a little bit of confusion about my frostiness towards them.
"It wasn’t towards Sophie. I don’t know her and I’ve never known her or had a relationship with her. It was more towards Jordan."
The star continued: "I can understand people’s confusion because they’re like, ‘Why doesn’t Chloe like him?’ But it will all become clear, and you will see why I don’t like him. I promise."
But it's clear the singer couldn't be happier after finding love again with Sophie, as he gushed over how smitten he is.
Jordan shared: "Sophie is amazing. She’s no stranger to TV and she slotted right in with all the confidence in the world.
"I couldn’t have a better person by my side. We complement each other very well.
"She’s as positive and has high energy like me – we’re both a bit nuts!"
