While the skimpy outfits popularised by iconic former cast-members such as Jet, Lightening and Amazon have been ditched, the up-to-date look still draws attention to the fearsome sixteen”s chiselled chests, ripped biceps and sculpted abs.
The fearsome group includes trained rugby players, accomplished swimmers, sprinters and powerlifters – but Mark Clattenburg will bring years of experience as a Premier League referee to the table when the series gets under way.

The secondary school-set show first aired in 2006 and won legions of fans by tackling numerous tough issues over its 200-episode run.

And Just Like That…

Back with a bang: The return in 2021 came 23 years after the original TV series debuted – and 11 years since the second movie, with Sarah Jessica Parker, playing Carrie Bradshaw
Sex And The City aired in June of 1998 and went on for six seasons before it concluded in February of 2004. It was based on the book of the same name by Candace Bushnell.
The return in 2021 came 23 years after the original TV series debuted – and 11 years since the second movie, with Sarah Jessica Parker, playing Carrie Bradshaw, Cynthia Nixon, starring as Miranda Hobbes, and Kristin Davis, as Charlotte York all returning.
The biggest scandal of the return was two major plot points – the absence of Kim Cattrall’s character Samantha Jones and the death of Chris Noth’s Mr Big, which viewers witnessed in heartbreaking scenes at the end of episode one.
But last month, Kim’s shock return to And Just Like That was revealed – despite her explosive feud with star Sarah.
According to Variety, Cattrall will return for only one ‘cliffhanger’ scene, which she shot on March 22 in New York City, without seeing or speaking with stars SJP, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis. The scene was also shot without AJLT showrunner Michael Patrick King.
In the scene, Samantha, who has moved to London, will have a phone conversation with Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw.
The New York Post also revealed Cattrall’s cameo was so secretive that her name did not even appear on the call sheet for the day, leaving people stunned at her presence.
Frasier
Revival: The long-anticipated sequel to the hit NBC sitcom Frasier is in the works (L-R) Dan Butler, Gilpin, Mahoney, Grammer, Pierce, and Leeves
The long-anticipated sequel to the hit NBC sitcom Frasier is in the works.
The series has been given a greenlight by Paramount+, and will be executive produced by Kelsey Grammer, 67, who will reprise his role as psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Crane.
Original supporting cast members include David Hyde Pierce, Jane Leeves, and Peri Gilpin as Niles Crane, Daphne Moon, and Roz Doyle.
Sadly, John Mahoney – who played Frasier’s father Martin – passed away, age 77, in 2018 after a four-year battle with throat cancer.
Grammer confirmed in July that they were ‘in the final stages of the final script for the first episode’ and added ‘I cried, so I’m happy.’
The original series amassed 37 Emmy Awards over 11 seasons spanning 1993-2004.
Fans can expect the pretentious Harvard-trained psychiatrist to bring his radio show/podcast to a new city after leaving his Seattle hometown.
Grammer famously originated the character as a married shrink living in Boston on nine seasons of the classic NBC sitcom Cheers.

Sir Tony Robinson is working on a reboot of his award-winning kids’ comedy, Maid Marian And Her Merry Men, nearly 30 years off air.
The BBC show, which first aired in 1989, ran for four series until 1994.
But after selling the ‘rights’ to the BBC show, Tony has revealed that they are now ‘in the process’ of creating a reboot for television.
He told The Sun: ‘A company I have worked with before has bought the rights to Maid Marian And Her Merry Men from me.
We are in the process of creating a version of the original for television.’
The show was a partially musical comedy retelling of the legend of Robin Hood, placing Maid Marian in the role of leader of the Merry Men, and demoting Robin to an incompetent ex-tailor.
Hugely successful, it won a Bafta, RTS gong and the Prix Jeunesse Variety Award at the International Children’s Programme Festival in Munich.
