Vanessa Feltz says she once considered Russell Brand a ‘friend’
Vanessa Feltz has taken to social media to lament the downside of being single as she revealed a struggle with her outfit.
Captioning the video on Instagram she wrote: “Whoops! I’m single. Who is going to lace up my corset-backed ballgown for @prideofbritain #ballgown #lacing #fashion #prideofbritain @carolvorders HELP!!”
In the clip, which she shared with her 383,000 followers, Vanessa can be seen holding on to her dress as she reveals she “can’t leave the house” as her dress is unlaced at the back.
Speaking to her fans, she said: “One of the most difficult things about being single is getting yourself into a ballgown which has a corset back, which involves lacing and all that, when you’re on your own.”
Before going on to say: “I can’t lace myself up the back by myself. What am I going to do? I’m on my way to the Pride of Britain, well, I’m not on my way because I can’t actually leave the house because I’m all unlaced at the back.”

She then went on to say: “Can I stop and call a total stranger passing in the street and say can you please lace me up?
“Or is that a bit too intimate?”
Before finishing off by saying: “Not sure what to do, the perils of being single.”

Unfortunately, fans can’t offer Vanessa advice as she has turned off the comments features on her post.
She turned off comments when she split from her partner Ben Ofoedu, 50, after allegations emerged that he had cheated on her.
But back in August, Vanessa revealed the reason why she switched the feature off and also shared that she gets thousands of messages every day since she announced the split.
Speaking to OK Magazine she said: “Things have been remarkable on Instagram.
“I’ve turned off my comments because I don’t think I’m quite strong enough yet to go through those, but I do get thousands of messages every day from people showing kindness.
“It’s been absolutely astounding. I’m very, very lucky.”
