Victoria Beckham is reportedly fearful that she won't have a relationship with her first grandchild amid the alleged feud with her daughter in-law Nicola Peltz-Beckham.
The Spice Girls star, 48, and David Beckham's, 47, eldest child Brooklyn Beckham, 23, tied the knot with the actress and billionaire heiress, 27, back in April.
However there has been a lot of speculation over whether the mother and daughter in-law are on good terms, with many fans pointing out that things no longer seem to be going well between the pair.
While neither parties have confirmed a rift, a source has said that Victoria is concerned the issues will result in her not being part of her first grandchild's life.
The insider said: “Vic’s biggest fear is not having a relationship with her first grandchild. She doesn’t really know what’s happened between her and Nicola and dearly wants to make it right before the issue deepens even further."
They added to Closer Magazine: "She feels like her worst nightmare is coming true amid the reality of Brooklyn's new life and fears the family is drifting apart."
Previous reports have claimed that Victoria feels like she's losing Brooklyn, while he gets closer to his wife's family.
A source told New!: "I think it's very difficult for Victoria, coming from a tight-knit family, to see her son grow close to his in-laws.
"Like any mum, she worries she could be losing him, and I think she is determined to stay on Nicola's good side to ensure that doesn't happen."
Back in June, Nicola appeared to take a swipe at her in-laws when she told Tatler Magazine that Brooklyn's previous career choices were due to him having "a lot of pressure to please people with his career and he didn’t love it".
Speaking about his close relationship with her billionaire dad Nelson Peltz, she added: "Brooklyn is getting into very exciting things with his shows and also business things and it’s really sweet. I watch him call my dad and say, 'What do you think about this?'
"I love watching him learn from my dad."
Nicola recently took to her Instagram page to thank her dad for "always having her back".
The father and daughter snap came after she had posted pictures of herself crying due to wanting to show her sad moments.
It was reported that Nicola's parents were invited to her and Brooklyn's honeymoon, while the Beckhams went on a different trip to Croatia instead.
