Wyatt Oleff and Chase Sui Wonders share a cute moment while hitting the red carpet at the premiere of their upcoming series City on Fire held at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Brooklyn on Tuesday (May 9) in Brooklyn, New York.
The two star in the eight-episode drama adaptation, inspired by the novel of the same name by Garth Risk Hallberg.
If you didn’t know, the series also hails from Gossip Girl and Dynasty creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, who wrote and executive produced all episodes of City on Fire.
Also stepping out for the premiere were Wyatt and Chase‘s co-stars Jemima Kirke, Nico Tortorella, Ashley Zukerman, Xavier Clyde, Max Milner, Alexandra Doke, Kathleen Munroe, John Cameron Mitchell, Michael Tow and Chaise Torio. Wyatt‘s I Am Not Okay With This and It Chapter Two co-star Sophia Lillis was also in attendance.

In the series, an NYU student is shot in Central Park on the Fourth of July, 2003. Samantha (Wonders) is alone; there are no witnesses and very little physical evidence. Her friends’ band is playing at her favorite downtown club but she leaves to meet someone, promising to return. She never does.
As the crime against Samantha is investigated, she’s revealed to be the crucial connection between a series of mysterious citywide fires, the downtown music scene, and a wealthy uptown real estate family fraying under the strain of the many secrets they keep.
City on Fire will premiere it’s first three episodes THIS Friday (May 12), with new episodes every Friday through June 16th.
