SHOPPERS are going wild for a pricey laundry detergent scanning in at Asda tills for just £1 – but it’s not an easy deal to nab.
Crystal Snow managed to nab extra large bottles of Fairy Non Bio Washing Liquid Gel 35 Washes for just £1.
When she realised the bottles – which usually cost £8 – were scanning in at the bargain price, she picked up six more.
Crystal took to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to boast about the surprise deal.
“Get me a lorry load,” one woman commented.
“Wow, that’s awesome,” another said.

However, £1 is not a guaranteed price because the bottles are still £8 on Asda home shopping deliveries.
What’s more, the price is still marked at £8 in-store so you won’t know if you’re getting lucky like Crystal until you scan it in at the till.
“Why are Asda not putting reduced prices on shelves?” one shopper moaned.
“You never know what's on offer.”

Others broke the bad news that the bottles were still scanning at £8 in their local Asda.
The 35-wash bottle has 1.23 litres of detergent in it.
“Fairy Non Bio laundry gel leaves clothes brilliantly clean, even in a cold wash, whilst being designed to be suitable for even sensitive skin,” a blurb on the Asda website reads.
“In fact, Fairy Non-Bio was voted No.1 laundry brand for sensitive skin.
“The bottle’s design and viscous formula allow you to measure the correct dose of gel with precision; all it takes is a little squeeze.
“It’s easy to use: just squeeze into the attached dosing cap, and add that directly into the washing machine drum for a gentle Fairy clean.
“It can even be used for pre-treatment of tough stains.”
Some commenters on Crystal's post theorised the detergent was falling victim to 'shrinkflation' – being made smaller, or with less washes in, but costing the same price.
