WOMEN choose different ways to share their exciting pregnancy news with friends and loved ones.
But one mum-to-be has split opinion after announcing that she's two months pregnant during her best friend's hen party.
Bride-to-be Katie Jo, who posts under the acronym @katiejo_germany, shared a video to TikTok and penned: "When your best friend tells you she's pregnant at your bachelorette party."
In the clip, the bridal party can be seen taking it in turns to reveal where their outfits and accessories are from.
But when it's her friend's turn to appear in front of the camera, she delivers some rather unsuspecting news – taking everyone by surprise.
After sharing that her dress is from Zara and earrings are from Kendell Scott, she then appears to say: "And baby bump from Miley" – presumably the name of her other half.

At first, bride-to-be Katie Jo doesn't notice and begins talking about her own dress, before stopping in her tracks and asking: "Wait…what?"
Her friend then confirms: "I'm pregnant."

Katie Jo, clearly delighted for her pal, captioned the post: "The best gift – can’t wait to watch you be the best parents. ILY."
Taking to the comments section, the pregnant friend admitted: "Yup not ideal time/place, but 1. I live OOT and it was the first time I had seen her in over a month! 2. she knows me too well to lie all weekend."

The video has since garnered a whopping 8.8 million views – but not everyone was a fan of the way the announcement was made.
"Definition of 'how can I make this about me?' wrote one.
In response, Katie Jo hit back: “How can I surprise my best friend with the most amazing news ever” *
A second commented: "The pregnant girl is like 'how can I make this about me' even if the bride is happy for you, this will still probably shift the focus of the night."
A third penned: "One main rule for my bachelorette party or wedding day is no big announcements like."
Elsewhere, others praised the announcement, adding that the bride-to-be's reaction just goes to show what good friends they all are.
"They obviously love each other very much and she knew announcing her pregnancy would bring joy to the occasion. Congrats to both of you!" enthused one.
A second agreed: "I think most peoples comments says more about themselves lol I’d be thrilled if my bestie did this."
