Cheating capital of Britain revealed – where does your town rank? | The Sun

POSH Guildford in Surrey is the cheating capital of Britain, according to a map of adultery hotspots.

The wealthy commuter town was named as the place where a husband or wife was most likely to have an affair.

It has 3,289 married people — or 5.2 per cent of its adult population — cheating, according to the Infidelity Index from IllicitEncounters.com.

It is a 41 per cent rise on the 2,325 affairs in 2021 in the town that was the birthplace of DJ Tony Blackburn and model Jodie Kidd.

One Guildford resident who has had three affairs in 2022 said: “They should rename it Guilt-ford! It is a real hotbed for cheating.”

Second worst for cheating was Borehamwood in Herts — close to the EastEnders set.

It has 1,341 cheats — 4.95 per cent of its adult population.

The boom in cheating has been put down to the cost of living crisis and the end of two years blighted by Covid.
