FOODIES have shared the seven must-buy essentials to bag from Aldi if you want to make your own McDonald's meal at home.
Savvy shopper Ashleigh listed some of her favourite affordable fast food buys, as cash-strapped Brits are struggling to make ends meet.
According to the bargain hunter, Aldi have launched a new range of food that she reckoned is supposed to replicate McDonald's.
''You can have your takeaway night at home for less,'' said the miney-saving whizz.
Chicken nuggets
One of the items the food fanatic was raving about was a 12-packet ofchicken nuggets that also comes with a sweet chilli dip, as well as BBQ sauce.
While just six of these will set you back by over £4 at the popular fast food chain, the high-street retailer sells 12 for a mere £1.99.

French fries
The store has also introduced ''brand new'' French fries, which come with a two-pack, as well as the iconic red containers.
A small packet of the salty goodness costs a little over a quid at McDonald's – but you can enjoy two of these for just £1.49 when shopping at Aldi.
The Big Stack
''The Big Stack is supposed to be a dupe for the Big Mac from McDonald's.
''You can pick this up for £1.79,'' revealed Ashleigh in her video posted on TikTok.

Compared to the budget version, the real deal sells for an eye-watering £4.59.
The Chicken Stack
According to the savvy customer, the store has also come out with a chicken version of the cult favourite for the same price.
''Even if you can't try it at McDonald's anymore, you can try it at home.''
Crispy chicken strips
Another classic favourite Ashleigh stumbled across in the supermarket was a packet of crispy chicken strips that are a double for McDonald's Chicken Selects.
Unlike the real deal that sells for almost a fiver, Aldi's dish is scanning for £2.59.
If you don't fancy the BBQ dip they come with, the store also offers the same dish with a sweet chilli sauce.
''Love these – these are really tasty.''
Hash browns
Last but certainly not least was a breakfast option – Aldi's hash browns.
These, she added, retailed for £1.89 for a box of ten.
