A NEW mum has shared her top tip for keeping her house clean during her baby's meal times.
The woman revealed in a TikTok video that she covers her little one's high chair table in cling film so that she can get rid of the food mess in seconds.
In the post, the woman called Monique detailed one of the "things I wish I knew as a first time mum".
She pointed out how using a cloth to clean the high top table can be laborious after baby mealtimes.
Instead, the mum suggested covering the surface in cling-film and then throwing it away once your little one had finished eating.
She said: "Tape a cling plastic wrap to the high chair tray. Quick and easy clean up."

Her post has received more than 58,000 'likes' and over 1,500 comments.

However, many fellow parents pointed out why her simple solution might not actually be the best idea – and for a variety of reasons.
