Last year, the Fortnum & Mason advent calendar launched on 12 August and was priced at £245, though it was worth quadruple that, almost.
The launch of the hotly anticipated Christmas countdown may seem a little early, as it will be released four months before December.
However, in previous years customers have had to wait a little while for the dispatch date, which is closer to the festive season.

For example, in 2022 there were 25 drawers with 21 full-sized products, four deluxe samples, and three travel-sized miniature across skincare, haircare, fragrance, bath, body and wellness treats and accessories.
Big-name brands included Aromatherapy Associates, ESPA, Penhaligons and Acqua di Parma, to name a few.

It is unknown exactly when Fortnum & MAson's advent calendar will go on sale.
