ACCORDING to the laws of the 'golden ratio', some of our favourite celebs have breasts that can be classed as physically perfect.
Stars like Michelle Keegan, Holly Willoughby and Amanda Holden scored “visually harmonious proportions”, on the system developed by the ancient Greeks to measure physical perfection.
While Love Island’s Maya Jama and Corrie’s Helen Flanagan came in close behind, according to the formula which stipulates the ideal position of the nipples.
Dr Omar Tillo, Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Creo Clinic in London, explained that the golden ratio is a mathematical constant that represents a special relationship between two quantities or distances.
It is often denoted by the Greek letter phi (φ) and approximately equals to 1.618.
He said: “This ratio has been considered aesthetically pleasing and has appeared in various forms of art, architecture, and nature. It's often believed to create visually harmonious proportions.

“This golden ratio has been found in various fields such as art, architecture, and nature. From historical artefacts like the Parthenon to artistic works like Leonardo da Vinci's ‘Vitruvian Man’, and even natural patterns like leaf arrangements and shell spirals, the golden ratio appears in diverse contexts.
“It's important to note that while the golden ratio has captured the imagination of many, its significance can sometimes be overstated. There are several other beauty measures and proportions we use in plastic surgery to assess the body aesthetics and beauty.
“For example, the 45:55 volume ratio was discovered by Patrick Mallucci in London by analysing pictures of 100 attractive topless models and identifying the golden ratios for the ideal beautiful breasts.”

- The proportion of the upper to the lower pole of the breast, separated by the position of the nipple, is a 45:55 ratio
- The angulation of the nipple is upwards at an angle of 20°
- The upper pole slope is linear or slightly concave
- The lower pole is convex
Dr Omar Tillo analysed a list to see how some of our favourite celebs' breasts matched up, according to the formula.
Amanda Holden: 45/55
Britain’s Got Talent star Amanda Holden has ‘ideal beautiful breasts’, according to the ratio.
Dr Tillo said: “Her breasts are in harmony with her body's proportions. The placement of her nipples adheres to the 45/55 rule, which involves distributing volume between the upper and lower pole of the breast.
“Additionally, the nipple position's measurement from side to side follows the golden ratio of phi (approximately 1.618).
“This description highlights Amanda's aesthetically pleasing breast characteristics while incorporating principles of proportion and symmetry.”
Helen Flanagan: 50/50
Corrie’s Helen Flanagan has breasts with a natural shape that complements her body.
Cosmetic plastic surgeon Dr Tillo analysed a photo of her breasts and explained they’re in line with a 50/50 ratio.
He said: “Her breasts are full and large, yet they maintain a natural shape that complements her body.
“The volume distribution of 50/50 between the upper and lower poles contributes to the attractive fullness in the upper part of the breasts and creates a well-defined cleavage area.
“Additionally, the placement of her nipples from side to side adheres to the golden ratio of approximately 1.618, highlighting the aesthetic harmony of her breasts.”
Holly Willoughby: 45/55
This Morning star Holly Willoughby has previously been dubbed the ‘most beautiful woman in the world’ by fans.
And Dr Omar Tillo said her breasts exhibit a pleasing natural proportion in relation to her body.
He said: “Her breasts exhibit a pleasing natural proportion in relation to her body, with a volume distribution ratio of 45/55.
“The upper pole of her breasts displays a linear form, while the lower pole has a convex shape.
“This combination of attributes contributes to a visually appealing and balanced breast appearance.”
What is the golden ratio and how to work it out?
- The Golden Ratio is the numerical definition of ‘perfect’ beauty which dates back over 2500 years as a ratio of 1:1.618, known as ‘phi’.
- The mathematical equation sees the ideal breast proportion as 45:55 where 45 percent of the breast would be above the nipple and 55 percent below the nipple.
- Dr Patrick Mallucci identified the formula for perfect breasts in 2007 after conducting a study where people ranked breast types with different proportions.
- The poll found that 87 per cent of respondents ranked breasts of the 45:55 ratio as their favourites.
- The Upper Pole was either straight or concave, and the nipple was pointing skywards at an average angle of 20 degrees.
- In all cases the breasts demonstrated a tight convex lower pole – a neat but voluminous curve.
- The ratio can be found by measuring the percentage of the breast above and below the nipple.
Kelly Brook: 45/55
Despite model Kelly Brook having large breasts, they maintain a natural appearance that complements her body.
Dr Tillo said the significant fullness in the lower poles, while consistent with her breast size, is balanced by adhering to the 45/55 ratio between the upper and lower poles.
He commented: “Her nipples are positioned within the golden ratio, contributing to aesthetic harmony.
“Furthermore, the fact that her nipples point upwards is indicative of an ideal breast shape. This comprehensive description highlights both the aesthetic proportions and pleasing features of Kelly's breasts.”
Liz Hurley: 50/50
Using the golden ratio formula, iconic actress Liz Hurley has a pleasing 50/50 ratio.
Dr Tillo said her breasts have retained a “youthful shape” and feature a “pleasing fullness in the upper pole.”
Plus, she has a well-defined cleavage.
He said: “The even volume distribution of 50/50 between the upper and lower poles contributes to their natural and harmonious appearance.
“This combination of characteristics results in a well-proportioned and attractive breast shape.”
Maya Jama: 50/50
Love Island host Maya Jama is often hailed as one of the most beautiful women on the planet.
And her breasts also have aesthetically pleasing proportions, according to the system developed by ancient Greeks.
Dr Tillo commented: “Her breasts are both full and maintain a natural shape, and there's an equal distribution of volume between the upper and lower poles.
“This balance in volume distribution contributes to a pleasing and well-proportioned appearance.”

“This ratio contributes to an aesthetically pleasing proportion, enhancing her overall appearance.”
