I bought a FedEx van and turned it into my dream home – it even has two doors to keep me warm in the winter | The Sun

WITH the cost of living rising and house prices being expensive, many people are seeking more alternatives homes to live in.

And one person who certainly fits that bill is Jonathan Norris, who bought an old FedEx delivery van to turn into an epic home.

The US-based former army vet gave a tour around his 27ft tiny home on wheels in a YouTube video on Jarrod Tocci’s account.

Speaking in the clip, he said: “I am free, I can go anywhere I want, I don’t have to answer to anybody.

“As you can see, it used to be a FedEx truck.”

Stepping inside, he showed how he has a “normal front door” to enter his living section, which he opens with a key.

He then showed how there is a second door immediately behind this for “insulation” and to keep the home warm.

Inside, he showed off his cosy kitchen, which has a wooden countertop, wallpaper that looked like tiles on the walls and plenty of cupboards for storage.

There is also a big fridge and freezer for his food, a microwave and a large sink.

Jonathan, who is raising money to add solar panels to his van, added: “The reason I built this is I’m actually going to be going to college to get my professional helicopter pilot licence.”
