YOU might recognize the red bandage dress one fashion fan purchased at auction – in fact, it may seem doubly familiar.
The dress, worn by Kim Kardashian at Madame Tussauds, matches one worn by a wax doppelganger. But the "real deal" dress has some problems, the buyer revealed.
The Herve Leger dress isn't the only piece of Kardashian-owned clothing Hope Allen has bought. The influencer regularly buys from Kardashian Kloset and reviews the clothes for her over 2million followers across TikTok and YouTube.
Recently, Allen took to TikTok in response to another content creator's upload, with a big surprise for fans.
The other creator had posted a video about the resurgence of the bandage dress trend, and Allen commented on a freeze-frame featuring one example of the style.
"I for one am very ready for bandage dresses to come back because I have that dress," she said, pointing at the photo of Kim and her wax double.

Allen clarified that she didn't just own an identical dress, but the very dress Kim wore that evening.
"It's from when she went to her Madame Tussauds wax figure photoshoot," Allen explained. "It still has the tag from the auction on it…It even came with a note that she initialed."
After much pleading from thrilled commenters, Allen agreed to try on the dress she'd won at auction a year earlier.
Modeling the dress, though, showed why Allen doesn't keep the stylish piece on regular rotation in her wardrobe.

She pointed out a rip in the center of the dress's neckline, right where the two breast cups meet.
"It had this hole in the top when I got it," Allen said. "I think it's just getting worse."
To some, the tear looked like an intentional part of the design. "It's supposed to be there," one person wrote.
Allen explained that it compromised the structural integrity of the dress.
"I’d leave it like that if I weren’t worried about a potential catastrophic wardrobe malfunction," she admitted in a comment.
Allen also stood back for a full-body shot of the outfit, but got bashful, covering her chest with her hands just in case the ripped fabric tore completely.
Many in the comments were thrilled to see the dress on Allen, while others were critical of Kim for selling a dress in poor condition.
"She's such a hustler for auctioning a ripped dress," said one viewer, while another accused Allen of ripping the dress when trying it on.
A trolling commenter rudely said that Allen should've left the dress for someone with a body type more like Kim's.
"Just because you can get it on does not mean it fits," they wrote.

But others thought the dress looked better on Allen than on Kim, or her wax statue.
"It looks better on you," one commenter reassured. "Seriously."
