I bought my wedding dress in a Starbucks carpark but think it was cursed – things took a turn down the aisle on my day | The Sun

AFTER believing she’d won the lottery with a bargain wedding dress, one woman was left convinced it was actually cursed.

Taking to her social media account, Kylee told viewers that she started her period on her wedding day before going back to the beginning to tell the entire story.

“I bought my wedding dress in a Starbucks parking lot and I tried it on in a Starbucks bathroom,” she explained.

She shared how a man and his other half were no longer getting married so he was selling all of their things.

Kylee came across the wedding dress and managed to get it for just £119.

“I also got my alterations done at a laundromat just randomly,” she continued. “I walked in, I was like, ‘Hey, can you fix this?’ and they were like, ‘Yeah!’”

After being measured, she came back to pick it up three days later and it was “perfect”.

She said: “My whole wedding was baller budget, you don’t even know”.

Kylee then fast forwarded the story to the day of her wedding, where she recalled getting into position to walk down the aisle.

“I got the feeling,” she said. “I wasn’t even due for my period, it was just a stressful time, it happened.

“My little cousin Taylor was holding my wedding dress, spreading it out so it looked pretty. And I suspiciously started lifting it up… We’re both looking at my legs.”

Freaking out, she told her little cousin that they had to run.

“I started running away from my wedding and I didn’t tell anyone about it,” she explained.

Once they finally got to a bathroom, she locked herself in while Taylor rushed to get her help.

TikTok user @_kylifornia said: “She comes back, my grandma has a bottle of vodka and some towels.”

Despite the wedding going backwards, Kylee said she managed to find the humour in it all as she laughed throughout the experience.

She continued: “So I’m cleaning my legs, my grandma’s cleaning my dress, my cousin goes out to tell everybody what’s happening… Or at least that I’m not running away from my wedding.

“Thankfully nothing got out on the outside, it was all on the inside.”

“But to this day, those stains are there. And that is how heirlooms are started,” she added, believing the dress was cursed.

In the caption, she added: “Things are perfect even when they’re not.”

People flocked to the comments section as one person wrote: “This happened to me too. I bought my dress at a thrift store so NBD”.
