I built a private jet in my own living room – it’s where I stuff my face with caviar, sometimes you need that luxury | The Sun

A WOMAN who built a private jet in her living room has explained exactly why she did it.

Jackie Siegel, otherwise known as the 'Queen of Versailles', made a name for herself when she took on the challenge of building the biggest house in America.

The 57-year-old socialite and model recently showed off the unusual addition to her living room and explained why she just had to have it.

Posting on TikTok, she said: "Have you ever had one of those days when you're in the mood for caviar but you feel like, 'oh my gosh, I should be on a private jet eating caviar, but I don't want to leave my home?'

"So, I got the solution for that."

Jackie wanted the first class experience from the comfort of her own home, so added the a fake private jet.

Donning a little black dress and a hefty diamond necklace, Jackie walked from her kitchen to the jet with her caviar ready to eat.

Apparently, the interior of the fake plane is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy premium snack.

It's got white leather seats, carpeted flooring and windows with working blinds – although there's no view.

Jackie started building the mega mansion in Florida with her mogul husband, David Siegel, 87, in 2004, but they only recently moved in.

The living room private jet isn't the only unique thing in the sprawling 90,000-square-foot home.

She previously told The Sun: "My favourite room will probably be my secret closet because when I need some alone time I know I can hide and escape from my crazy busy life there," she said.

To walk through the home would take guests a couple of hours, she revealed – but that doesn't mean it's too big.

"In terms of my house, I actually wish it were a little bigger because I have a lot more friends now and they are all wanting to come stay at Versailles, so I’m having to add [to it].

"Also because now we have a live-in security guard house and I also need more guest suites and guest houses… I’m actually going to add on to Versailles," she said.

After showing off the private jet social media users were baffled by the whole thing.

One said: "This is how out of touch I want to be."

"She just called me poor in so many ways," a second wrote.

A third mocked: "I hear you sister, which is why I had my fifth mansion built in the shape of a plane with a river of caviar running through it."
