A SAVVY shopper has joked Primark has her in a chokehold after doing a huge Christmas haul in store.
Megan Welsh bought her first home in Glasgow this summer and has spent months transforming it into a colourful and quirky haven.
And in the run up to her first festive period in the flat, the 25-year-old has excitedly started buying decorations.
Holding up her Primark shopping bag, she said: "I love Primark. Primark has me in a chokehold.
"Their Christmas stuff is out, and I know people are like, it is so weird if you buy Christmas stuff before Halloween has even been.
"I get it. But also, why'd you care? Why have you got a bee in your bonnet?
"For me, I actually don't have any Christmas decorations because this is my first year ever living alone, so I need to start early.
"You know, my bank account cannot handle that shock to the f***ing system come December or November, whenever it's appropriate to be buying Christmas decorations.
"So I started now."
The YouTuber and podcast host shared her festive haul on TikTok (@meganowelsh).

She bagged two "cute" Christmas tea towels and Christmas tree napkins for £1.
She joked: "Will I be having Christmas dinner in my flat? No.
"Can I cook? No.
"Will I use my napkins? Yes."
Megan also picked up some "ugly" £1 decorations for the tree – a miniature suitcase and a lobster.
Holding one up for the camera, she admitted: "This is lowkey quite ugly, but ugly cute."
But the Christmas fanatic's favourite find was a matching pair of candy cane cushions.
"Look at these cushions for the couch", she gushed.
"Candy canes. I picked up two of these. Slay.
"Oh, look, [they create] a wee love heart. How much do you love your candy canes? This much."
Megan also bagged a new bathroom towel, pyjamas and pink fluffy ear muffs from Rita Ora's collection in her haul.
