A WOMAN has opened up about her decision to ditch her heavily made up look for something much more low-key.
And she admitted that she wished she’d listened to her mum sooner about how natural beauty is the way forward.
Alicia Rose revealed her before and after transformation pictures side by side on social media.
In the first, the brunette had thick make-up and ultra long lashes, with plump lips accentuated by lipliner.
However, Alicia looked worlds apart in the second image as she showed off her much more natural, sun-kissed look with a dewy glow and natural, bushy eyebrows.
The TikToker, who can be found at @alicia.rosexx, explained to her followers: “Me after realising my mum was always right.

She added in the caption to her post: “Natural always wins.”
And it seems everyone was in agreement, as her followers complimented her on her new look, and said she was glowing because of it.
In response to her realisation, one person simply wrote: “Facts.”

While a third person was in agreement, as they showered her with compliments as they joined in the conversation.
They added: “Love this! So stunning!”
Meanwhile, her transformation video racked up an impressive 33.5k hits and had clearly inspired others, as over a thousand added it to their saved videos too and said they were also jumping on the natural look.
One person typed: “I think we are all realising this.”
Another revealed: “Been doing this make-up look since 2015.
“Never understood the heavy make-up look, always did my make-up the way everyone is doing now.”
Others also said Alicia’s mum knew best all along, and begged her for her make-up secrets on how to achieve the natural look.

So Alicia posted a separate video in which she explained she uses serum and moisturiser, before applying a primer to her skin.
She followed this up with a light layer of foundation, concealer and powder, plus a light eye-shadow and blush.
