AFTER applying a fake tanning product, one mom was ready to go about her week in style – and then the kids crawled in bed with her.
The result of the sweaty bed-sharing left the mom laughing, and other moms say they've seen similar results.
Bridgette Hartt shares bargain finds and real-life mom moments with her 114k TikTok followers, and her recent viral video falls into the latter category.
She recounted her normal nighttime beauty routine in the video, and where things went horribly wrong.
"I put on a fake tan last night before bed," Hartt explained. "My kids slept with me because my husband wasn't here."
Hartt didn't anticipate anything going awry with her fake tan, despite a history of hotter temperatures in a shared bed.

"I know I get hot when they're in the bed with me and I end up sweating," she admitted, "but I didn't realize my kid was sweating on me too."
Then she panned down to show her legs, where her artificial tanner wasn't just streaked, but stamped with a familiar shape.
"Those are his feet prints!" Hartt cried, showing where her son's footprints lined her legs. The pale patches revealed exactly where the toddler's sweaty feet had been.
Some moms thanked Hartt for warning them of the consequences of fake tans, while others confessed they'd learned the same lesson the hard way.

"When my husband has duty, my son sleeps with me too," another mom shared in the comments.
"He always asks 'mama…did you put tanner on tonight?' Cause it gets all over him too," she wrote.
One mom described a similar result happens when her own kids sleep with her: "Half of their face is brown from sleeping on my arm," she said.
Everyone loved Hartt's good sense of humor about the situation, and some got sentimental about the little ones.

"That’s amazing! I’d get that tattoo," one mom wrote.
