A DAD has hit back at trolls after being criticised for feeding his kids lobster and bragging they've never had a McDonalds.
While most of us enjoy a cheeky Big Mac from the fast food chain, the dad, from the UK, said he would never feed his children it.
Posting a video to his TikTok account, Bali Entrepreneur, the dad shared a clip of his children out for breakfast.
He wrote: "When your kids have grown up never having eaten McDonalds, they opt for the lobster omelette instead."
"When your kids enjoy the finer things in life," he captioned the post.
But the video didn't go down well with everyone, with many stating that not everyone can afford to feed their kids lobster.

One wrote: "Not everyone can afford to feed their kids lobster omelette."
Another commented: "I mean that's cool and all, but for sure not everyone can afford it and has to find normal options to feed their children."
A third penned: "Well done, you are so much better than the rest of us."
Meanwhile, another person added: "Classism at its finest," to which the dad replied: "It's called success."

The dad decided to then make a video responding to the the hundreds of comments.
"I just want to be clear, or get clear what my reason or my intent behind the video was because there is a lot of reference to classicism, privilege and everything else which is bulls***."
He added that the video was filmed while the family were away for his wife's birthday and that at breakfast there was a variety of food on offer including sweet treats.
But rather than picking those, his children went for the lobster omelette.
He continued: "As a parent, that was a very proud moment it reinforces that all the education and teachings I've been trying to give him about food and eaten more consciously is paying off."
The dad went on to add that his kids have never had McDonalds, and believes the reason his son chose a better option than sweet treats was because he 'hasn't given him s*** food.'
"It's not about classism, it's not about wealth, it's about education about food," he added.
While some people commented saying it was okay as a treat, the dad disagreed and said there were far better options out there.
"We all have choices on how we teach our children, I've made mine and I'm not shaming anyone else."
Plenty of people went to the comments, divided over the dad's opinion.
One wrote: "Great that your kids chose a better alternative. Keep up the good work."
Another commented: "Hear! Hear! Well done."

A third said: "You literally captioned it ‘when your kids enjoy the finer things in life’. You didn’t post it to make a point about nutrition, it was about wealth."
A fourth person added: "There is absolutely nothing wrong with letting your kids have fast food from time to time and no need to be smug about never allowing it."
