A SHOPPER'S new micro mini skirt has been brutally slammed online, as people reckon it looks more like a weightlifting belt than a piece of clothing.
Those who live and breathe all things fashion know that the 90s and 00s are creeping in our wardrobes again, with mini skirts leading the way.
However, it seems that designer brand Diesel have taken things to the next level, making the already-teeny mini skirts even shorter.
The fashion brand recently took the internet by storm, after launching a micro skirt that even they said could be a belt.
Despite covering barely anything, the statement piece is retailing for an eye-watering £795 – although keen shoppers can now nab it for £559 on sale.
The hefty price did not stop one fashionista, Emma Z., from forking out for the look, the try-on haul of which she excitedly shared on TikTok.

The Aussie, who now lives in the US, had purchased the skirt in the metallic range, which appeared to have a plastic top.
To make sure the chrome effect ''would pop'', Emma decided to style it with a black tube top, as well as over-the knee silver booties.
Checking out her reflection, Emma immediately seemed to be over the moon with the outfit.
''Not gonna lie, this looks sick,'' the stunner was all chuffed in her video.

Determined to go with the running metallic theme, the Aussie fashionista also grabbed a Diesel purse in silver and a massive silver necklace.
''I feel like a super hero in this, dont ruin it for me [sic],'' Emma wrote in the caption.
