I found the perfect hack to pour fizzy drinks without ever having too many bubbles – here’s how | The Sun

NOTHING beats a cold fizzy drink, but pouring one into a glass without it overflowing with bubbles can be a bit of a nightmare.

Well it turns out there's a clever hack to pour your favourite fizzy drink without having to deal with the mess.

Instead of pouring the bubbly drink straight from the bottle into a glass the usual way – by lifting the bottle up to the top of the glass – the hack mixes things up a little bit.

Put the glass on top of the open bottle, then carefully turn the glass and bottle upside down so the glass is the right way up again.

Then slowly lift the bottle up from the bottom of the glass, allowing the fizzy drink to fill it up with no over flowing bubbles.

It's really that easy.

The simple trick was shared on Instagram by @that40yearoldguy and it's left people amazed they didn't know about it sooner.

Fellow Instagram users rushed to the comment section of the clip to all ask the same question: "Does it work with beer?"

He said: "You're telling me for 40 years I've been fighting the fizz and I could've been doing this? Ain't no way."

The bad news is it seemed no one had tried the trick with a beer yet, so they weren't for sure if it would work the same way.

That said, they were pretty impressed by how well it works with other fizzy drinks.

One said: "I'm going to have to try this one for real."

A second agreed: "I normally tilt the glass but there's still bubbles so this is cool tbh."

"Trouble is you need a glass big enough to fit the bottle," another pointed out.
