I got two HUGE Very returns pallets with almost £2k worth of bargains including trampolines, lawnmowers & kids' toys | The Sun

A MONEY-saving mum has shared some of the incredible bargains she got by purchasing two return Very returns pallets.

Holly Smith has bought a lot of the returns pallets before so knows they can be a big risk, and even confessed to making a loss last time she bought one with her husband, Callum.

But this time the risks paid off for the couple, who were stunned to find loads of bargains including two huge trampolines, two lawnmowers and kids' toys.

The first pallet she bough was worth £734.94, but she only paid £146.99 for the entire thing.

The second pallet was an even better deal, since it had a whopping retail value of £1,207.88, but she got her hands on it for just £217.42.

"Obviously returns pallets are a risk and when we buy them, we buy them blind.

"All we know is there's summer stock inside, so we're gonna crack them open right now," she said in a video she shared on her YouTube channel, Holly Vlogs.

The couple were immediately impressed when they opened the first pallet to discover a Little Tikes water table, which usually is sold for £69.99, along with two brand new lawnmowers.

The second pallet was just as much of a success with a Cozy Coupe police car and a Little Tikes cottage playset.

Each product had a sticker on explaining why they'd been returned, and Holly noted that most of them were due to damaged packaging, not faulty products, which worked out well for her.

"Sometimes people do return items with damaged boxes just because they're giving them as presents and they don't want it to look second hand," she explained.

Some of the other bargains they got their hands on including plant pots, a play centre and wooden Barbie campervan, worth £99.99.

Some of the items they got, like a hockey table and a scooter, were already used or damaged, but were still a good price, and Holly said she would try to fix them.

After unpacking everything, the duo put up both the trampolines in their garden and were impressed to find out they were both brand new.

They even got a huge garden swing, which looked to be completely new and unused.

"Both the Cozy Coupes had been used but the kids are really loving them," she said.

The star of the show for Holly though was the Little Tikes play centre.

"This I was really happy was brand new because it's quite a high value item," she raved.
