A WOMAN who left her old life behind and moved to a cabin in the woods says she wouldn't change a thing.

Hannah Duggan has shocked people with her lifestyle out in the wilderness.



The young woman shared the process with her nearly 500,000 TikTok followers in a video that has 6.7million likes.

In the clip, Hannah shows her impressive DIY construction journey.

She writes: "A few years ago, I moved into the woods alone.

"I'd always been a city girl and I didn't know anything about living the country."

She shares pictures of herself working on the bedroom, bathroom and "everything in between".

Hannah says she "learned how to chop wood" to keep her fires going through the winter.

She also says she made her own ice rink when the mercury plunged.

But Hannah eventually decided to move after the winter became too harsh.

She found another cabin – with better insulation – nearby.

Now, Hannah documents her latest projects in the new homestead – a property such as a farmhouse or an outbuilding that is designed for living off the land.

Impressed TikTok users commented messages of amazement at the lifestyle : "You are really living my dream and inspiring me so much to just go for it", wrote one.

"Wow I'm really proud of what you're doing and you're doing it well carry on," said another.

Someone else commented: "You have a beautiful life. What a great space you've created."

"Living your best life, this is something I only dream of, nature and just me", agreed a fourth.

This comes as many people are turning to the self-sufficient lifestyle in nature.

One mum-of-four prepares all of her family's food herself and has been homesteading for 15 years.

Allison Michael, 41, lives on 20 acres of land with her husband, Joe, 45, and spends her days tending to their garden, livestock and prepping and cooking food grown on their land.

Plus, a female gardener has shared some of her budget-friendly gardening hacks that even beginners can use when planting.
