“I quit nursing for good in 2018, a year leading up to that I started my own marketing agency.
“I also knew that I was going to save up and buy a rental property.

Lauren was able to earn her passive income through Airbnb, as a co-host.
She continued: “A co-host is basically an assistant to an Airbnb host – they can do everything an Airbnb host can, like message guests, handle the calendar, file claims, everything except handle money.

“So if it's $300 a night, you could potentially make $30-$90.

“When someone tells me they hate their job and wants to quit, I will agree and tell them they can make more money hosting on Airbnb without even owning property.
“When people tell me co-hosting and Airbnb is a scam, I just say OK more passive income for more.
“You can make thousands of dollars co-hosting other peoples’ Airbnbs.
“Then, all you need to do is save up, buy your own property and hire your own co-host to have them do all the work for you.
“Then you can join the lazy landlord club and yeah, it’s as simple as that.
“It definitely helps if you have prior experience with customer service or hospitality, people skills, time management and administrative tasks.
“You don’t necessarily have to have this, but honestly, I don’t think I’d hire you without that.”
Lauren explained that Facebook is your best friend when it comes to getting started.
She said: “Start engaging with Airbnb Facebook groups. These groups have Airbnb hosts actively searching to hire a co-host to help them.
“All you have to do is apply and to apply you simply reply to their post in the comments or post your own.
“Now you’ve found the right group, it’s always best to engage with the content.
