“I’m a five-star Airbnb host, here to teach you how to become financially free hosting on Airbnb, with or without property.
“I quit nursing for good in 2018, a year leading up to that I started my own marketing agency.
“I also knew that I was going to save up and buy a rental property.
“I ended up making $20,000 passively in my first years hosting on Airbnb.”
Lauren was able to earn her passive income through Airbnb, as a co-host.
She continued: “A co-host is basically an assistant to an Airbnb host – they can do everything an Airbnb host can, like message guests, handle the calendar, file claims, everything except handle money.

“This makes it a really good way to get hosting experience, without any upfront costs.
“Co-hosting is a low cost/low risk side hustle and you can make thousands of dollars each month.
“Co-hosts can make 10%-30% of the net Airbnb nightly listing pricing.
“So if it's $300 a night, you could potentially make $30-$90.
“So with just a few listings under your belt, you could easily make a few thousand dollars, and even enough to equal or surpass your day job.”
If you fancy giving this a go, Lauren shares her top tips on how to get started.
Lauren advised: “The easiest way to get started hosting on Airbnb is to ask a friend or family member with a listing if you can help them out, but if you don’t know anyone, you can start networking in Facebook groups and Airbnb forums.
“When someone tells me they hate their job and wants to quit, I will agree and tell them they can make more money hosting on Airbnb without even owning property.
“When people tell me co-hosting and Airbnb is a scam, I just say OK more passive income for more.
“You can make thousands of dollars co-hosting other peoples’ Airbnbs.
“Then, all you need to do is save up, buy your own property and hire your own co-host to have them do all the work for you.
“Then you can join the lazy landlord club and yeah, it’s as simple as that.
“It definitely helps if you have prior experience with customer service or hospitality, people skills, time management and administrative tasks.
“You don’t necessarily have to have this, but honestly, I don’t think I’d hire you without that.”
Lauren explained that Facebook is your best friend when it comes to getting started.
She said: “Start engaging with Airbnb Facebook groups. These groups have Airbnb hosts actively searching to hire a co-host to help them.
“All you have to do is apply and to apply you simply reply to their post in the comments or post your own.
“Now you’ve found the right group, it’s always best to engage with the content.
