IT'S no secret the cost of a weekly food shop has soared recently, but one savvy shopper has managed to beat the cost of living crisis with a clever hack.
She scored almost £50 worth of food for just £3.30, and all she had to do was pick it up.
Posting on the Too Good To Go Facebook group, Lucy shared a snap of everything she got from Aldi by using the popular app.
"First time trying this app – very happy," she wrote.
The foodie showed off her haul of grub, which filled two bags.
"Worked out about £42 worth of vegetables, salad, fruit, bread, lamb kebabs and a few treats, also two bags of oranges that I forgot to pop in the pic," she continued.

The Too Good To Go app connects people with food chains as well as supermarkets with leftover food that would otherwise be thrown away.
ecause the food would otherwise go to waste, app users can get major discounts on their favourite foods.
All you need to is pay through the app and show up at your given time, usually before they close, to get the food, which is usually a surprise.
Although there's no doubt Lucy got her hands on a mega bargain, some people thought there was no way she'd be able to use all the food before it goes out of date anyway.

One commented on the post: "It's good but what are you gonna do with it all? nine bags of carrots? Aldi food isn't the best for staying fresh even when it's in date."
But Lucy assured them the food would be put to good use.
She said: "I'm the process of cooking a few different flavoured carrot soups and slow cooker casseroles.
"The carrots are still very fresh and crunchy, so so will go in salads today too."
Meanwhile, other food fans were impressed with all the grub she got her hands on.
"Wow that's awesome. When we got two one time there was a loaf of bread in each, some bread buns, celery then 4 packs of Bakewell slices in each."
