AN INFLUENCER who had a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) for a “skinnier” body and rounder behind has warned other women off the dangerous procedure.
Holly McCallister bravely took to social media to reveal that her BBL left her with loose skin on her stomach that she now “absolutely hates”.
BBLs use a combination of liposuction, to extract fat from your body, and fat grafting, to deposit it in your bum cheeks and hips.
And while it's one of the most popular surgical procedures around thanks to Kim Kardashian’s influence, it's also extremely deadly.
According to 25-year-old Holly, from Glasgow, she was warned by her surgeon that she’d have loose skin following the procedure due to how “skinny” she wanted to become.
A tummy tuck could have been added to the operation to fix this but the doctor advised Holly that it’s best to get that done after having children.

“I wish that I had the tummy tuck because I am sadly left with loose skin that I absolutely hate,” she said in a TikTok video.
Holly recalled that she was grateful to wake up following her BBL surgery – something that lots of women aren’t lucky enough to happen.
BBLs are considered the deadliest surgery, with a mortality rate of one in 3,000.
As there are very large blood vessels in your bum, fat can be inadvertently injected into one of these and fatally carried to the heart and lungs.

This results in cardiopulmonary collapse, which is oftentimes not reversible or treatable, and thus can kill you.
“The risk of doing a surgery like that is not worth your life,” Holly said.
“You should really prepare yourself for everything that’s going to happen afterwards.
“You’ve got drains hanging out of you, it’s quite a traumatic experience.”
She added that the aftermath of the surgery feels like “being hit by a truck”.
Holly also warned women considering the procedure that a “BBL isn’t going to last you forever”, so it’s not worth putting your life at risk for temporary gain.
“Even though I didn’t have a bad experience, it’s not worth your life,” she reiterated.
“And if you are someone who does really struggle mentally when it comes to your appearance, [a BBL] is probably not going to make you happy.
“I want a tummy tuck now, purely just to get rid of the excess skin.
