A BRIDE was told she'd wrecked her wedding dress after tying the knot at a very unique 'venue' – but has no regrets over her special day.
Erin Pengelley, 29, and husband Ross, 30, got married on a mountain in the Isle of Skye despite heavy snowfall before heading back to an Airbnb for board games.
The school sweethearts were on-and-off for years after getting together aged 14 and 15 thanks to MSN Messenger.
But they made a proper go of it around nine years ago when Ross turned down the chance to work in Canada.
The couple, from Wormit, Fife, only invited three witnesses to the wedding, and had their baby daughter Florence there too.
After the ceremony with a humanist celebrant they went out for a meal and then back to an Airbnb to play board games.
Erin, who works as a nurse, had a tartan shawl around a white lace dress, and 18-month-old Florence also wore a tartan dress.
The ceremony was on Sligachan Bridge then moved onto the Quiraing for photos, on March 11.
Erin, who is pregnant with the couple's second child, said: "Skye was our first proper holiday together, that was when Ross told me he wasn't going to Canada.
"We thought if there wasn't many guests, there was beautiful scenery to make up for it.

"It was a big decision not to invite family and friends.
"We both have no regrets and are glad we did it they way we did it.
"The weather was beautiful, it was everything that we wanted.
"I'm pregnant again but knew it would be early enough that I could hike up a mountain.
"A lot of people have said the dress was ruined but I didn't want to make a big deal out of it.

I wasn't going to get uptight about the dress."
She added: "We have a friend who lives on Skye and she messaged us to say it was snowing quite hard.
"We were a bit nervous about the weather but where we were wasn't too windy or exposed.
"We used to do quite a bit of hillwalking and munro climbing."
The ceremony lasted 30 minutes and included drinking from the Quaich – a cup containing whisky which is shared between guests.
They then had a meal and went home and played board games.
Erin added: "It was super-chilled.
