A MUM has revealed that she meal preps FIVE dinners in just half an hour every week – and insists it’s not too good to be true.
Renee, a member of @5dinners1hour, sets aside an hour every week to get five nights worth of food ready.
And she has a hack that makes it all possible.
Renee does not cook the food until she wants to eat it, meaning it is prepped raw and freshly done once cooked.
Not cooking anything on “prep day” means you can get all the food preparation, storage and cleaning done in under an hour.
Among her meals are chicken dishes, fish dishes, fajitas, meatball pasta bake and ground chicken burgers.

She said: “I get it, it sounds too good to be true.
“But it’s not.”
Renee recorded herself doing a weeks worth of bulk preparation and shared it on Tik Tok.
She has perfected the system so much that she has whittled her food prep timing down to 30 minutes – and even 20 minutes on a good day.

The other 30 minutes are spent tidying and cleaning up.
Renee elaborated: “We write all of our recipes specifically to be prepped ahead in about ten minutes or less.
“That gives you 50 minutes to prepare five meals and ten minutes for prep and clean up.
“Nothing gets cooked until the day you’re going to eat it.
“So, it’s not like those meal prep systems where you prep 20 of the same dish and you eat the same thing every day.
“This is five different dinners.”
Renee has been using the meal prep system for over ten years.
She is now part of the meal prepping system 5 Dinners in 1 Hour which helps other people do the same thing.
