Well, one woman has proven that you haven't got to spend a small fortune on your weekly food shop – if you know the right section of M&S to shop in.
In a clip shared to the M&S Tunbridge Wells TikTok page, the savvy shopper shows off the contents of her food shop which can be seen sprawled across her kitchen worktop.
"Guys, I just wanted to show you what £30 gets you in M&S 'Remarksable value' everyday food items," she explains.
"So we got a big bag of potatoes – they're £1, big value mince is £4.50, milk (4pt) is £1.65 and pasta is 95p.
Reeling off her list, she continues: "Coffee is £1.30, tea bags £1.10 for 80, toilet rolls (4 pack) is £2.

"Royal Gala apples are £1.70, carrots 50p, a big pot of yoghurt is 75p, tuna is £1.10 and this big bag of biscuits is £1."
"Mushrooms are £1.10, sausages £2, cheddar cheese £2.50, chicken legs £1.30 and eggs are £1 for six."

Along with the items mentioned, the savvy shopper also nabbed whole grain wheat biscuits, large baps, butter, bananas and bacon
