A MAN who spruced up his garden on a budget has hit back at trolls who say it looks "tacky."
The savvy homeowner, who isn't particularly green-fingered, revealed how he created "very simple" decorative garden planters that require "no looking after" using bargain buys from Aldi.
To achieve the instant glow up, he used a planter he bought from Aldi last season and £3.99 York grey decorative chipping from the same store.
In a clip posted to TikTok, he begins: "Cut the wood to size (less depth, less decorative stone required)."
Taking a power drill, he continues: "Secure the wood to the fake topiary ball."
Once in place, he quips: "No more topiary balls blowing around the garden in those winds!"
