I took 2 showers to remove my hairspray but it wouldn’t budge – then I realised what had actually happened | The Sun

A YOUNG woman was mortified when she realised the real reason she couldn't wash out the 'hairspray' she had used earlier.

When TikTok user Louisa Melcher (@loulouorange), from New York, the US, was getting ready, she grabbed a can of what she thought was hairspray.

But upon popping into the shower later that evening, the young beauty fan, 22, noticed that the hairspray wouldn't budge.

No matter how hard she tried to rinse it and shampoo numerous times, Louisa's locks remained stiff.

Hair-rified, she took to TikTok to tell her 74k fans what she thought may have happened that morning.

''I am one second away from fully losing my f****ng mind right now,'' she said in the now-viral video.

But what she found on her dresser was not hairspray – it was a can of shellac spray for woodwork.

''Please tell me this comes out,'' the woman was mortified by the hair horror.
