One creative homeowner revealed how she transformed her metal garden bin into a stunning floral centrepiece – using a bargain buy from Poundland.
The savvy woman named Diane Angus took to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK and shared a before snap of her plain metal bin, which looked like a total eyesore.
Alongside the image, she penned: "Poundland today got me some metal paint for £2 and a tool for de-mossing my yard (£1.50)."
The artistic homeowner then posted a photo showing the colourful transformation after she painted a pretty pink flower onto the lid of the bin.

Meanwhile, the bin itself was filled with soil and some stunning hand potted flowers to add a pop of colour to the garden.
