A MUM was stunned to discover her new Boohoo trousers were designed for a person with 'the world's longest legs' and 'could fit the green giant' at nearly FIVE FEET long.
Mhairi Billington had ordered a new pair of green cargo trousers from online retailer Boohoo in preparation for a 90s-themed rave.
However, the 27-year-old mum-of-two got more than she bargained for when she unwrapped the bottoms on 30th December to find that they were abnormally lengthy.
Mhairi claims that the trousers almost reached her neck when she held them up to her five-foot-five frame, making the garment nearly five feet long.
The carer claims that there was a 'whole extra leg's space' at the bottom of the trousers, and was quick to capture the moment on film as she showed how they were almost as tall as her.
Mhairi, from Sefton, Liverpool, said: "I pulled them out and thought, 'Oh my God, these are gorgeous. I'm going to love these'.

"As I pulled them out of the bag and lifted them up, I thought, 'they're nearly as tall as me'.
"I was just shocked. I whipped my phone out straight away [to record the moment], because I just thought obviously nobody is this tall.
"I'm five foot five, and the top of them nearly came up to my neck. The pants must have been nearly five feet long.
"They must have thought I had the world's longest legs.

"I did try them on but they didn't fit, which is a good job because they would have been going back anyway.
"There was a whole extra leg's space where the foot was going to come out.
"I'm not paying £20 for a pair of pants that could fit the green giant.
"I think maybe this is the end of mine and Boohoo's relationship."
Mhairi swiftly returned the cargo trousers to Boohoo, and was refunded by the popular fashion company shortly after.
The surprising purchase quickly went viral on TikTok, with footage showing the stunned fashionista holding the length of the trousers up to her body in comparison.
The video racked up more than 20,000 likes, shares and comments, and some users even claimed to have had similar experiences.
One user said: "I ordered beige ones and they were the length of me from head to toe."
Another said: "Being 4'11 they'd literally be taller than me."
