A FASHIONISTA has been trying out the foundations for her winter outfits with a shapewear bodysuit review.
She gave three examples a trial run under a cute all-in-one party season outfit.
A size 8/10 and 155 pounds, she had reservations about an Amazon buy, which gave her back fat.
That most definitely was not the look Shelby (@shelbstales) was after.
This lady's fashion reviews are keenly followed by her 304,000 followers.
It was no different in this post, where her beady eye fell on shapewear, trying out two different brands.
First on was the small/medium-sized version of the SHAPERX Bodysuit for Women from Amazon.
It came with full tummy control and a price ticket of $37 – these were definite positives.
“It has a built—in bra with padding," she said, "multiple strap options. It has a super soft fabric and has a deep V and low back.
“It sucks in the tummy and smoothes out the back. I really like it.”

There was another advantage too: “The Amazon option definitely wins on affordability and it is a great everyday option."
There were some reservations, however: “You do need petals or covers of some sort for the girls, but it provides lift up top and for the boobs."
The medium/large Amazon version did not fare so well in her mind: ”I don’t love it. It gives a little bit of back fat."
But Amazon reviewers were buzzing, like this satisfied shopper: "It is tight. Less rolls/jiggles, smooths you out, and will be great under clothes."
Shelby kept her favorite until last, the Suit Your Fancy Plunge Low Back from Spanx, but it was far pricier at $148.
“And then we have the best,” she enthused. "It has a built-in bra, and multiple strap options. I got it in a size large [and] it lifts up the girls."
There was no doubting her verdict of the three bodysuits: "[Spanx] is a clear winner.
"It is not the most affordable option but it does have the most benefits."
One happy customer shared her views on her Spanx bodysuit: "It gave me the plunge I needed, especially in the back. Though more cup support could have helped. That would make it perfect."
