CURLING you hair is a great way to change up your look, but using heat tools on your hair can damage your hair making it look dry and lifeless.

But one hair lover shared the clever way she managed to get big bouncy curls using just leggings.

Em posted her hack on Instagram and people can't get enough of it.

She said: "First I added copious amounts of oil in my hair to prevent it from getting frizzy in the morning."

The hair lover admitted that she used leggings that she bought second hand to do her curls, but any leggings that are soft will work just as well.

Placing the top of the leggings on the top of her head so each leg is of either side, she began wrapping her locks around the leggings.

She explained: "I'm trying a different technique this time and wrapping all of my hair away from my face until I get to the nape of my neck."

"Then I start crossing over so I have hair going in two different directions once I reach the bottom."

After securing the ends of the hair with a bobble, Em then tucks both sides of hair behind her neck and then tucks them into the top of the leggings to form a sort of bonnet.

"I do this with completely dry hair," she added.

Then Em slept in the curls, unravelling her hair from the leggings in the morning.

"Whenever I do overnight curls it actually motivates me to get out of bed because I want to see what they look like.

"I'm not going to lie I think these are the best overnight curls I've ever done in my entire life," she added.

Fellow hair lovers couldn't wait to try the trick for themselves, one said: "Your hair is so floofy I love it."

A second said: "I can't wait to grow my hair out and try this!"
