I used to cry about having cottage cheese thighs but now I'm shining – I shake my butt because cellulite is lit | The Sun

A FITNESS fanatic has started to champion body positivity after years of loathing her curvy figure.

Kelsey Ellis (@healthy_with_kelsey) admitted that despite working out daily, like so many other women she struggled to accept herself.

She has racked up almost 74,000 followers on TikTok where she shares her workouts and self-care rituals.

She took to the social media platform to share her regret for not appreciating her body sooner in a post that resonated with many.

Kelsey donned a figure-hugging onesie and pulled her braids into a high ponytail for an outdoor dumbbell workout.

She sang: “I work out every day and I don’t have thin thighs.

“The back of my legs have lumps and bumps and it used to make me cry.

“Looking back I feel so sad thinking I was not enough.

“Diet culture had its grips on me and ditching it was tough.

“But here I am still shining and I’m still hella fit.
