A MUM who lost more than half of her body weight was moved to tears after being able to wear a bathing suit for the first time in years.
At her heaviest, Teresa Parent, from the US, used to weigh over a whopping 600lbs – or close to 43 stone.
But after almost four years of hard work, the mum managed to shed an impressive 26 stone – and has since had surgery to remove the massive apron belly that was hanging down to her knees.
And it seems that now the efforts have finally paid off, as after years of covering up and avoiding showing her skin, Teresa took the plunge and purchased a swimsuit.
In tears, Teresa said: ''I'm wearing a bathing suit for the first time and I just wanted you to show you guys.
''Please be kind, okay, I've never worn like an actual bathing suit.''

Looking incredible in the black garment that had a flattering neckline, the mum revealed she was going on a cruise to Miami – the first holiday since the weight loss transformation.
''I am crying the happiest of tears my friends,'' she wrote by the video.
''Bring on the Florida and the Bariatric Cruise to the Bahamas because this girl is ready.''
The reaction on TikTok, where the clip has been viewed over 340k times, was positive, as thousands flocked to comments.

Recently, viewers even compared the super mum to a celebrity after losing the belly and the excess skin.
Praising the hard work, they reckoned that there was one celeb in particular who she looked like – American movie star Drew Barrymore.
"Have you ever been told you look and sound like Drew Barrymore," one wondered.
"You look like drew barrymore and have an amazing recovery," another added.
Even a famous star – Kanye West's ex-girlfriend, Julia Fox – complimented Teresa.
