I work in IKEA & my biggest pet peeve is spending my entire shift sorting out the ‘jokes’ customers have left on display | The Sun

SHOPPING for furniture in Ikea can be a fun experience for all.

But it's not always fun for this IKEA employee who spends her whole shift going around removing all the often rude 'jokes' that customersleave behind on display.

In a comical clip posted by @sosi.scn on TikTok, we see the IKEA employee going from aisle to aisle removing naughty hand gestures left on the wooden hand models that are displayed for all to see.

The TikTok reeled in 949.6K likes but the employee doesn't look impressed as she fills her shift neutralising offence from the displays – all to the familiar mischievous sound of Kevin MacLeod & Kevin's Monkey Spinning Monkeys.

"At this point I'm 99.9 per cent sure that IKEA is just an adult playground used to play house…" one wrote in response.

Another added: "At my local one they zip-tied the hands in position so that no one can make them do the middle finger."

Customers seem to be having a lot of fun with the black and white plushie cat called LILLEPLUTT.

Lilleplutt the IKEA cat is featured in the clip many times.

The IKEA employee is seen rescuing the plushie from most bizarre places across the store floor.

Customers seem to enjoy hiding the plushie in fridge-freezer draws, jars, saucepans and Lilleplutt is even spotted hanging from a wall lamp.
