A FIT woman over 50 has shared how fabulous she looks and feels after her 30-pound weight loss.
She said it was worth the hard work and she wished she had known how great she would feel in her new lean and strong body.
Fitness fan Gail McNeill (@fiftysister) is an age-positive advocate who is transparent about her path to weight loss success.
In a TikTok video, she showed how she looked before and after she lost 30 pounds.
When the video began, she showcased her former body in a bikini and revealed her measurements in a subtitle off to the left.
At the time, she was 54 years old, weighed 161 pounds, and a US size 10.
Then, she showed a present-day clip of herself posing in a black sports bra and blue athletic shorts with an avocado print.
Now, she stands at 131 pounds and fits into a US size 6.
Gail explained in the video caption that she gave herself a year to get lean and in shape.
"I wish I’d known at the beginning how incredible I would feel at the end. I was worth the effort," she added.

"You can do it too," the subtitle off to the side of her read.
"Good grief woman !!! You look amazing. So happy for you," a viewer commented.
"Incredible. Thank you for sharing. Well done!" a fan praised.
In another video, she showed an old video of herself before she lost weight where she dove into a lake and encouraged others to "take your time" and "dive in."
She also explained in the caption that everyone wants to lose weight quickly, but "it takes time to build new habits."
A TikTok user joked in the comments: "Jesus is that the fountain of youth?"
Gail joined in on the fun and replied back with a laughing emoji.
