A PETITE bodybuilder has told how trolls claimed her husband “must be blind” because of her ripped physique.
Beth Scott, 29, started lifting weights a decade ago and now poses professionally under the World Beauty Fitness and Fashion (WBFF) banner.
But she’s found that it’s women who typically make nasty comments about the figure she’s worked so hard to achieve.
The fitness fanatic, from Dundee, says: “I had comments turned off because I couldn’t handle the trolling I was getting.
“Comments like ‘if you have a boyfriend he must be blind'.
“Or ‘imagine going out with you, it must be like being with a man’.
“But in real life I’m 5ft 1 and petite so what you see when someone is flexing, they don’t look like that relaxed.
“When you’re really lean, you get veins across your abdomen.
“If it was a man and he was lean and muscular, people say that you’re looking great but when it’s a female it’s ‘oh you’ve gone too far.’
“Women have commented more negatively on my body than men have.”

Beth adds: “When other women see how much graft it takes to look a certain way, they’re jealous that you have that motivation when they can’t be bothered.
“It’s people who are insecure about themselves that will comment on how you look.”
Meanwhile, a gym girl who weighs more than 200 pounds has revealed she is the happiest and heaviest she has ever been.
